Great Baseball!

I love this team!! What a great group of people! Tonight I saw us get out and sprint back to the bench. That is the way you play baseball! No one was hanging their heads! These are the life lessons of baseball. I am proud of these kids and I am having a lot of fun too. Thanks everybody! Have a great Memorial Day everyone!

Great game tonight and a good day over all. I watched kids learn, succeed and deal with disappointment in a positive way. Way to go team!

6:45 at Andrews! They did the pictures in the shelter last night. They may want to take a picture with the kids mit so bring it along!

SUPERFANS!

Yes, my wife is upset with me, which means most of you probably are too. It really did look like it was getting brighter for a while. I have a new line up plan so the fielders can keep moving throughout the game. I got a little lost when we had to make a line up shift. It will get better and I am pretty sure that the weather will get nicer.

Matt, the coach from the other team (who wanted to play at all costs) said that if the pictures get canceled tomorrow, the make up is on Thursday night... and yes, it might rain that night too.

See you all tomorrow and I will try to be a stronger advocate for calling games. My haircut will have to wait for another day.

Remember pictures are tomorrow at 6:45 at Andrew's Park.

Opener

There is big rain expected this afternoon, but like my high school coach would say "We are going to get this one in!" (That was when we were taking cover from severe weather in the dug out.)

Stay tuned to the blog for rain out updates.

If we don't get rained out I will be there at 6 to hand out uniforms. If we do get rained out I will be at my garage from 6 to 6:30 to hand out uniforms, then I am going to go get a haircut.

I hope we get our game in! I know that Owen is stoked!!

Rain outs:

Rain outs will be on the voice-mail (952-808-5002) no later than 4:00 pm. If the game has not been called by 4:00 all players should go to their designated field where the coaches will make the determination.

Jersey's and Helmets

We got them all today. Belinda (my wife) was nice enough to run around town to get the stuff.

I am looking for a volunteer to take the jerseys in to get names on them after Wednesday's game. We will have to ask the kids what name they want on the back. They can either go first or last name but we are suppose to avoid nicknames.

I will also have the picture envelopes on Monday night. Remember our pictures are on Tuesday at 6:45.

My wife offered to have a uniform pick up tomorrow night around 5. I will be bringing my mom home from our Mother's Day festivities; or we will bring the uniform to the game. We live at 5601 111th Ave. N. (Right behind JMS.)

Great practice!!

A few items to note:

1) We have a glove mix up. Be sure to check your bags for a left handed mit. It is Jeremy's.

2) I got the picture envelopes tonight in the mail. I will have them at the game Monday night.

3) We will have the uniforms Monday night before the game. Like Keith said, If it was anything like tonight we can just pull it over what we are wearing.

4) We will also have a snack list for the team on Monday. We will take the first game.

Just got our picture time, and I believe it is at Andrew's (that will be another e mail.)

Our date and time is May 11th at 6:45. We will pick up the uniforms on Saturday and we will bring them to the game on Monday.

Dress Rehersal Tonight!

We will split up and play it like a game. We will also discuss dealing with disappointment and how to keep the focus on the team. Great life lessons in what we hope will be a great practice.

No word on the pictures yet and the uniforms are coming in late. We will have them by the first game.
